
Weather threatened to cut short out trip this time (thunderstorms were expected in the afternoon), but we managed to miss the rain: our timing was just right. However, what was described in the guidebook as a "fairly flat ridge trail" turned out to have plenty of ups and downs. We were exhausted at the end of the day!
After all that, there was still a question: did we actually reach Bear Church Rock? There were some rock formations that seemed to qualify, but the results were... inconclusive. We think this is it: you be the judge.
